Synopsis

This is an announcement that the catalogue published by the Museo de la Solidaridad Salvador Allende in May 1972 does not represent the full collection and, therefore, does not mention all the donating artists. The announcement also requests any and all comments concerning errata so that corrections might be made as soon as possible.

Annotations

The Museo de la Solidaridad Salvador Allende was created while Allende was President, both in support of the Chilean people and as a toast to the restoration of democracy. The collection consisted of works donated by artists who wanted to express their solidarity with the Chilean people. The first exhibition was held on June 17, 1972.

This announcement was distributed with the catalogues and demonstrates a desire to explain that some of the donors were not named, as well as to mention possible errors in the text.
